My composition software has a messaging module. Why do I need messagepoint™?

messagepoint™ works across multiple touchpoints and delivery technologies. Your composition software module works with output from that system only. As well, using your software composition module probably requires IT involvement. messagepoint™ is easy to use and puts you in control of messaging.

What touchpoints will messagepoint™ manage?

messagepoint™ will allow you to manage message content for all print and electronic touchpoints such as statements or bills, direct mail, email, web messaging, customer service interactions, and SMS. And we’re continually adding touchpoints based on your needs.

Will messagepoint™ work with my existing systems and applications?

Yes, messagepoint™ is designed to connect easily to your existing systems. It’s not a replacement for your CRM systems, data management systems, or document composition software.

What platforms does messagepoint™ run on?

messagepoint™ consists of two pieces: a web-based configuration and reporting utility and a back-end qualification engine. The web utility will run on Windows, Linux and other Unix variants. We designed the qualification engine to run on the same platforms that composition engines run on, from Windows and Linux on up to the mainframe.

Do I have to modify my data feeds?

No. If your delivery system can handle the existing data, so can messagepoint™. Of course, you may choose to modify your data to include additional information to be used for messaging.
